Penang Food at Ingolf and Wai Kee

Last Friday, I had my dinner at Ingolf Kneipe, one of the famous Western Restaurant in Penang. It is a German restaurant located at Jalan Sungai Kelian, 11200 Tanjong Bungah, Pulau Pinang Tel 04-899-5796‎. If you know the way to Penang Chinese swimming club, this restaurant located opposite of it where you will have to turn left just after a petrol station along the way to Batu Feringgi.

Penang-Ingolf-Julian-Mixed-Grill
My all time favourite is the big serving of Julian's Mixed Grill consisting bacons, sausages, beef, pork and lamb chop. It is advisable to make reservation before getting to the restaurant.

The following day, I had my favourite Char Siew rice at Wai Kee. This is also another popular eating place in Penang and located at the Sky Hotel in Chulia Street.

Char-Siew
The char siew or honey gazed pork taste really good. Do get there early as this hawker kopitiam always crowded with people and usually their famous char siew will be sold off about 1pm. Usually, I get there around 11.30pm and even so, I still have to wait for about half an hour for my serving to come. They also serve pork rip, roasted duck, roasted chinese sausages, soup and vegetables.
